New York State is the second-largest producer of wine in the country, and the Finger Lakes region is home to more than 100 wineries and vineyards. Award-winning vintners produce a wide variety of world-class wines from sweet to dry. The Canandaigua and Keuka Lake Wine Trails are the nearest trails to Another World Bed and Breakfast. However, there are several other wine trails within the area to follow during your stay. New York Wine & Culinary Center – Canandaigua
The New York Wine & Culinary Center, built in 2006, showcases New York State’s wines, beers, bountiful agriculture, and culinary arts. Sample some of the two hundred varieties of wine or a selection of premium New York beers, attend a lecture by a celebrity chef, learn about food and wine pairings, take a hands-on cooking class, and enjoy a seasonal gourmet lunch or dinner in the center’s Taste of New York Restaurant.
