Lavender in the Finger Lakes

Lavender at lavender crest farm

Lavender Crest Farm is located in the Finger Lakes just outside Pen Yan on 15 acres overlooking Keuka Lake. The Finger Lakes have the ideal microclimate for growing lavender. The farm raises several varieties of lavender and lavandins. More than 1000 plants currently bloom in the farm’s field. The organic and natural products that the farm produces include soaps, lotions, sachets, gift baskets, and more. You can tour the farm from 9 am to 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays in July when the lavender is in full bloom. From the farm cart at the entrance to the farm you can purchase fresh cut or dried lavender, lavender soap, lavender plants and many other products from the gardens. The cart is open 9 am to dusk Monday through Thursday from July and through the summer while supplies are available. The farm is located at 3068 Bath Road (corner of Bath Road and Second Milo) in Penn Yan.
