It’s hard to believe that Labor Day and the start of the new school year are just a little over two weeks away. So, why not come out and catch some of the best summer sounds in the Finger Lakes at Brew and Brats at Arbor Hill in Naples, NY. Meyer and McGuire, local eclectic acoustic musicians, whose music reflects such greats as Jimmy Buffet, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Prine, and Jim Croce, will be performing on Saturday, July 17, from 6-9pm at Brew and Brats. Also, taste the excellent selection of locally brewed beers, have a glass of Arbor Hill wine and enjoy the Hartmann Brats made right here in the Canandaigua area while listening to some great music on a beautiful summer night.
A Finger Lakes tradition now in its 33rd year, the Annual Hammondsport Festival of Crafts, takes place August 17-18 from 10am-5pm on the Village Square. Over 125 craftsmen gather for a weekend of demonstrations and sales offering jewelry, quilts, leatherwork, photographs, candles, woodwork, gourmet food items, pottery, floral designs and many other unique crafts. This is a perfect outing for a day trip from Naples, NY and the Canandaigua Lake area. For more information call, 607-569-2989 or visit the website at: http://www.hammondsport.org/CratfShowPage.htm
